Melissa was in the pilot episode of the show "Shark" Melissa was a guest star.

Commentary by James Woods and Creator/Exec. Producer, Ian Biederman:

James Woods: I love this scene with Melissa Leo. She plays the mother of the boy who is the victim, and she has such an incredible, simple humanity of a mother who has lost a child.

Ian Biederman: These roles are incredibly important in the series because our victims are generally dead, so the relatives of those victims become a rooting interest for us, and when we get great actors like Melissa, it really… really helps the show.
